Final Wedding Information

Hi,

As the date approaches, we wanted to share some final information about our wedding. 

1- Food

Please let us know by email (lisa.mcglasson@gmail.com) if you have any special dietary requirements, including if you are a vegetarian. 

2-   Transport

After the ceremony, transportation to the reception will be provided.  We recommend that you get a taxi to the wedding venue.  If you do need to drive, this won’t be a problem but you will need to leave your car at the hotel all day as there is no parking at the reception venue, Hankinson House.  We therefore recommend taking a taxi to the Barton Grange Hotel in the morning. 

At the end of the evening, we are providing buses back to hotels at 11pm and 1am(ish).  We do not anticipate that this will be the end of the evening for many people, so there will also be readily available taxis to take people back to their hotels later on. This is a local company and we anticipate that with cab sharing this should cost around £2 each.  Final carriages at around 4:00am.

3) Wedding gifts

A few people have been asking about our wedding list.  We are so grateful that you are making the trip to our wedding: the presence of all our friends and family is all that we could ask for.

If you would like to give us a gift, we would love a small contribution towards our honeymoon later in the year in South East Asia.  There will be a card-box at the wedding.

Wedding Gifts

Hi,

The best present that you could possibly give us is attending our wedding, although if you did feel that you wanted to give us a gift then a small contribution to our honeymoon would be great.

The honeymoon itself will be somewhere in South East Asia and while we are being a little vague now about locations and dates, we will let everyone know exact details as soon as we know ourselves.

If you did want to make a contribution, there will be a card box at the wedding.

Dearest friends,

Welcome to Josh and Lisa's wedding blog.  Over the next few months, we will use this blog to publish important wedding-related information.

Sadly, some selfish equestrians have decided to hold an event in the local area on the weekend of our wedding.  As such, it would be a good idea to book up hotels as soon as possible.

The ceremony will be held at 11am on Sat 26th July 2014 at the Barton Grange hotel.  You might want to stay at a hotel the night before and the night of the wedding.  Below, please find a list of accommodation in the local area:

All of these hotels are a short cab ride away from the wedding venue / reception venue.
